Fat mystery question

Why do you think that the intruder came in with money?

The Mystery of the Haunted Mansion

By: 8H Amanda R.
Australia, Age 13

Once upon a time there was an old house on top of the highest mountain. Nobody has lived there for over a hundred years. The people that used to live there were the Portart family who moved out because of weird sounds and things kept on going missing.
One afternoon there was a little boy named Tim. He was 9 years of age and lived with a family of 4 who were his mum, dad and 3 year old sister, Kate. They were the new family in town. Tim was a boy who got in to a lot of mischief. He decided to go for a walk and find some friends while his family unpacked.

Tim went to the local park but there was nobody there. He saw a big hill with a house that had a big black gate around it and crows flying around and it looked really old and falling to pieces, but Tim didn't care he just wanted to check it out. So he went up there. 5 minutes later Tim got to a rusty, squeeky, tall gate. He was a little scared but he went in, there was all sounds of bugs and screeching all around. Tim got to the front door and it was wide open with a big spider web on it and a big red back spider. Anyway Tim kept on going, he hadn't had enough yet, he walked in and there was no furniture there was only some broken glass and some planks of really old wood lying around, Tim walked up to a stair case that had all holes in it and walked up the stairs. On his way up he had seen a big sign on the wall in green, saying ''help me''.

Fat mystery question

If the disappearance of Tristan and Taliesha were all just a part of a dare, why were the shaking and frightened to death
when the came back to the camp site?

Hercule Poirot

One of Hercule Poirot's cases that involved threats, notes and money was called ''The Adventure of Johnnie Waverly''.
The Adventure of Johnnie Waverly is about the kidnapping of a three-year-old boy. The family had received an anonymous letter saying that the boy would be kidnapped at twelve o'clock the next day unless 25 thousand pounds was paid.
At dead on twelve o'clock, police found a tramp sneaking towards the house. Mr. Waverly and the Inspector raced outside to see what was happening and the boy was taken then - driven off in a car through an unguarded gate.
After investigations, Poirot concludes Mr. Waverly kidnapped his own son to get money from his rich but very careful wife.

Le Carnivale

Today all of Year 6 got together in the R.A Young Hall to perform about 3 times in front of an audience. We were performing what we had learnt though this dance unit, Le Carnivale.

Firstly, the dragon was going around the Junior School and it was very loud! Then, the hosts came out and they started talking to the audience about what and why we were doing this Unit of Inquiry.
LATIN which was my class was first and we performed our music piece then our dance, which was AWESOME! After that we went down to the music room that is just below the hall and we had to be completely silent. During the long waiting time I played UNO with Melissa, Sophie, Claire, Emma, Ebony, Lara and a few more. While that was happening Claire's class started heading up to perform their HIP-HOP dance and music piece but in between were two small group dances. Soon after that the INDIGENOUS dancers headed up with more group dances after. Later on the Disco dancers headed up and the rest of us prepared for the FINALE. Finally, it was time to line up and get ready to run out and dance and dance and dance. We all ran on stage, it was GREAT!

Le Carnivale was GREAT for 2011 and everyone danced and loved all of it. It was so much fun. I loved everything about it and I think my mum and dad did too.
